THE SHOPS AT SKYVIEW TO HOLD TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
The Shops at Skyview, a multi-level shopping destination in Flushing, Queens (https://www.theshopsatskyviewny.com), invites the community to a spectacular Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 7th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. During this event, Santa will make an appearance, hearing wish lists and taking keepsake photos with children and their families on Level 4; photos with Santa are complimentary; photos will be taken by a photographer and printed onsite. Visitors will also enjoy live jazz music and captivating dance performances as they celebrate the magic of the holiday season. While this event is free and open to the public, photos with Santa are first-come, first-served; pre-registering on the center’s website at https://www.theshopsatskyviewny.com/events shortens wait times by giving guests a spot in the express line. The first 50 guests to register for photos will also receive a $50 Converse coupon to help with holiday shopping. The following day, on December 8th, there will also be a Holiday Cocktail and Cookie Decorating Workshop for those over 21 with valid ID (tickets required). And from December 1st through 24th (Christmas Eve), the center will host a Holiday Tree Celebration featuring a series of beautifully adorned trees decorated by retail and community partners each competing for a $1,000 donation to the winning nonprofit group.
