Christians of Slavic, Hungarian, Italian and other backgrounds traditionally bring their Easter foods for a special blessing so that they break their Lenten fast and celebrate the Easter feast with blessed foods. Ss Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church has observed this tradition for over 120 years and welcomes all to participate. Traditionally breads, meats, cheeses, butter, eggs, along with other treats are brought in decorated baskets. All cuisines are welcome. Kids' baskets also welcome.
