America's Birthday Celebrated
Our traditional Independence Day celebration, featuring a reading of the Declaration of Independence and tolling, 13 times, of the historic church bell. There will also be tours, talks, music and refreshments. Keynote speaker is author & historian Ian Frazier, whose recent book "Paradise Bronx: The Life & Times of New York's Greatest borough" has been awarded the prestigious Gotham Book Prize. Early American music performed by the acclaimed duo of Carle Lynne Hall and Jm Keyes.
