Under the baton of Principal Conductor Maestro Kyunghun Kim, this concert showcases celebrated soloists and beloved masterworks from the Classical and Romantic repertoire. Saint-Saëns – Cello Concerto No. 1
A showpiece of lyrical beauty and virtuosic flair, this concerto showcases the cello’s expressive range. Soloist Lanny Paykin brings both warmth and brilliance to this Romantic masterpiece.
Mozart – Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola
This radiant work highlights the interplay between violin and viola. Soloists Kathleen Butler-Hopkins and Francesca Silos illuminate Mozart’s sparkling melodies and graceful dialogue.
Brahms – Serenade No. 1
Brahms’ Serenade No. 1 blends classical structure with Romantic warmth. Its lush orchestration and soaring lines make it a perfect closing work for an evening celebrating elegance and musical expression.

About the Adelphi Orchestra
Founded in 1953, the Adelphi Orchestra is a professional, non-profit ensemble dedicated to providing high-quality classical music performances and fostering musical education in Northern New Jersey and New York City.
