Lupus Research Alliance NJ Walk with Us to Cure Lupus

The Lupus Research Alliance is hosting its annual “2025 New Jersey Walk with Us to Cure Lupus” event on Saturday, May 17 at MetLife Stadium where the New York Jets play in East Rutherford!

This in-person fundraising event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the community who are passionate about finding a cure for this debilitating autoimmune disease. Also included are inspiring speakers, light refreshments, fun festivities, photo booth, and a Kids Zone. All are welcome. Of special note -- 100% of all donations goes to support lupus research programs because the Lupus Research Alliance Board of Directors funds all administrative and fundraising costs.

Lupus is a chronic and complex autoimmune disease that affects millions of people worldwide.  Four out of five people with lupus are women, and the disease disproportionately affects women of color. In lupus, the immune system, which is designed to protect against infection, produces autoantibodies that mistake the body’s own cells as foreign, causing other immune cells to attack organs such as the kidneys, brain, heart, lungs and skin, as well as blood and joints.
