Called “the most powerful all-female band in rock history” by Spin magazine, Lez Zeppelin has earned a reputation as one of the rare tribute acts with the musicianship, authority, and stage presence to take on Led Zeppelin’s catalog with real credibility. Founded in 2004 by New York guitarist Steph Paynes, the band has performed on major stages including Bonnaroo, Hellfest, and the Isle of Wight, and their debut album was produced by Eddie Kramer, the legendary engineer and producer whose credits include Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix.
For this special performance, Lez Zeppelin celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Song Remains the Same with a complete performance of the legendary soundtrack. Recorded during Led Zeppelin’s 1973 Madison Square Garden concerts and originally released in 1976, The Song Remains the Same captured the band at a defining moment: expansive, theatrical, and fully in command of its power. Lez Zeppelin brings that performance back to the stage with the scale, precision, and improvisational fire the music demands — including “No Quarter,” “Dazed and Confused,” “Since I’ve Been Loving You,” and “Stairway to Heaven.”
