Join the Community FoodBank of New Jersey on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24 for its annual Turkey Drive in partnership with CBS New York. In New Jersey, nearly 1 million people struggle with food insecurity. Help make the holiday brighter for our hungry neighbors this Thanksgiving. Last year’s Turkey Drive gathered over 35,000 pounds of food and more than 4,000 turkeys for our neighbors in need. This year, CFBNJ hopes to surpass those numbers!
Most needed food items include frozen turkeys, frozen roasters, frozen hams, gravy, canned cranberry sauce, stuffing, canned proteins, pasta, cereal, rice, potatoes, mac and cheese, chili and soups, peanut butter, and canned vegetables and fruits.
*Turkeys, roasters, and hams MUST be frozen. CFBNJ cannot accept glass, cellophane, bottled water, soda or baby food.
