History Through a Lens
This is a FREE event but registration is required as space is limited.
Class size limited to 12 students.
Calling all 3rd – 6th graders interested in history and photography!
Dive into old photos from the Weston History & Culture Center archives and uncover the stories they tell. Learn about the early days of photography, explore photos from 150 years ago, and use clues to create a story about these images from the past. Through discussion and hands-on activities, this class will inspire you to see old photos in a new light.
No prior experience is required. Bring a camera, tablet or smartphone to capture photos. Please let us know if you don’t have one and we will provide one to share.
