Wilton Singers Presents “A Night in New York!” Concert – May 2 & 3, 2025 WEPCO Complex, Wilton

April 11, 2025 (Wilton, CT) – The Wilton Singers are delighted to present their 42nd annual Spring Concert, "A Night in New York!" on May 2nd and 3rd, 2025—an unforgettable musical journey celebrating the iconic sounds of the Big Apple. This year’s program pays tribute to the legendary composers, artists, and Broadway hits that have defined New York’s rich musical history. Audiences will enjoy stunning arrangements of beloved songs, including Billy Joel’s And So It Goes, Norah Jones’ Don’t Know Why, the Gershwin brothers’ I Got Rhythm, Leonard Bernstein’s Somewhere from West Side Story, Bob Dylan’s The Times They Are A-Changin’, Carole King’s (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, and more. Under the direction of Kevin Cotellese, the Singers will be accompanied by pianist Lisa Bettke, a Wilton High School alumna and former Madrigal Singer, alongside percussionist Nicholas Albano, guitarist Shane Peters, and bassist Rodger Bryan. Concert producer Patty Taylor, a longtime Wilton Singers member and Performing Arts Curriculum Coordinator for the Brewster Central School District, shares her enthusiasm for this year’s theme: “We are thrilled to bring this celebration of New York to life! This program honors the timeless music, films, and Broadway productions that capture the city’s vibrant spirit. It’s a joyful tribute to the incredible composers and artists who have shaped New York’s musical legacy.” Founded in 1983 by Wilton couples Ed and Jan MacEwen and Al and Jan Galletly, the Wilton Singers continue to thrive, now 40+ members strong. The group brings together singers from diverse backgrounds who share a deep love of music and community.
