Brazilian Jazz Sundays (12/15) Feat. Dennis Boolyoins
Drummer Dennis Boolyoins was born and raised in Brazil's northeastern city of João Pessoa and he started his formal music education at the age of nine, attending classes at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB).
He has being involved with different artists and groups, playing and sharing the stage with names like: Helio Alves, Ari Hoenig, Eduardo Belo, Ehud Asherie, Roni Ben-Hur among many others. In 2022, Dennis published two books about Brazilian drumming. Since 2023 Dennis has been touring around the globe with Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto playing music from her new album João.
