Golf Outing & Pickleball Tournament
This beloved community fundraiser is more than just a day of friendly competition—it’s a vital initiative that supports environmental educational programs for children and adults across Greater Fairfield County.
The proceeds directly support New Pond Farm’s Education Fund, which provides enriching programs for children and adults focused on the environment, the arts, local history, the sciences, and sustainable agriculture. These programs include:
- Nature-based summer camps for children from preschool through middle school, fostering exploration, learning, and friendship in the great outdoors.
- Field trips and specialized learning experiences for students from Title I and majority-minority schools, as well as programs tailored for community partners like Danbury’s Grassroots Academy, Danbury's Sunsational Summer Program, Bridgeport’s Capital Prep Harbor School, and Norwalk’s Odyssey Early Learning Program.
- Workshops and hands-on experiences at New Pond Farm’s Model Working Farm, where participants of all ages learn about valuable skills in caring for the environment, raising animals responsibly, and growing food sustainably.
