D’Valda and Sirico Dance and Music Centre Annual Gala Fundraiser
For 27 years, D’Valda and Sirico Dance and Music Centre has been providing scholarships to foster the nation’s next dance leaders. The 27th annual gala fundraiser returns on February 22 from 6-10 p.m. (during Financial Aid Awareness Month!). The event will be held at the Bijou Theatre, the country's oldest, continuously running movie theatre.
Major alumni have received these scholarships, including principal ballet dancer of America’s leading ballet American Ballet Theater James Whiteside, former Ballet Hispanico dance Jaqlin Medlock, and Aja Nicole DePaolo, who has danced with Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and many Hollywood award shows.
This is your chance to be part of a night brimming with laughter, dancing, drinks, and so much more – all in support of their talented students, scholarship recipients, and outreach programs. There will be incredible performances from the award-winning D'Valda and Sirico dancers, food, a DJ, live auction, raffle and more.
This is their major fundraiser for the school (a national winner of America’s Best Dance and Performing Arts School), raising between $15K-$30K annually in scholarships for students in need.
