Pickle for a Purpose to benefit Future 5
Pickleball America is hosting the second annual "Pickle for a Purpose" Tournament on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at its indoor pickleball venue — one of the largest in the US — 140 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT. The event benefits Future 5, which has helped close to 1,000 under-resourced Stamford student members achieve their academic and career goals since 2009.
This January, Future 5 moved to new, expanded headquarters at 4 Landmark Square, which will allow it to serve more students, offer expanded connections, and achieve greater successes.
"Pickle for a Purpose" is a Round Robin Tournament (3.0-4.0). All level players are welcome. Other event activities include Pickleball-themed carnival games, silent auction, and after party with winner awards.
Future 5 connects motivated, under-resourced Stamford students to the people and resources they need to achieve their educational, career, and life goals. It links them to coaching, community service opportunities, college access, non-college options, career preparation, internships, and professional skill-building. Members become part of Future 5 in high school and remain part of the organization through college and early career. More about Future 5 can be found at www.futurefive.org.
