Franklin Hill Perrell, curator of Seeing Red: Renoir to Warhol, will discuss a selection of works on view in the exhibition exploring artists’ deep fascination with the chromatic power of the color red and how the hue has been utilized throughout the history of art to create commanding compositions that evoke strong emotions and represent the human condition.
