Sunday Service in Danbury
We are a community of people who seek to serve God the way that Jesus did: By working to make God’s vision of a peaceful, just and inclusive world a reality. We believe that God is still speaking in ways that are grounded in ancient Christian understandings, but which are fresh expressions of the Divine presence in contemporary life.
We offer a time of prayer, music, fellowship and joy as we come together to grow in faith.

Our doors are open to all God's children. God's children are:
* Married, single, divorced, widowed, in a relationship, going solo.
* Employed, unemployed, self-employed, semi retired, retired.
* Female, male, straight, gay, lesbian, queer, transgender, ally, asexual.
* Black, brown, white, shades in between.
* Active duty, Reserve, National Guard, veteran, conscientious objector, uniformed civilian first responder.
* Blondes, bald, brunettes, red heads, gray, salt-and-pepper, however you color your hair, however you cut it (or not).
* Conservative, liberal, moderate, MAGA, progressive, Republican, Democrat, independent, none of the above, voter, non-voter.
* Documented immigrants, undocumented immigrants, native born, citizen, First Nation.
* Healthy, ill, strong, compromised health.
* Joyful, grieving, despondent, not-sure-just-hanging-in-there.
* Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Shinto, indigenous, all faiths, kinda spiritual, no faith, atheist, agnostic, none of the above.
* Alcoholics, drug users, in recovery, out of recovery, raw-dogging it, clean and sober.
* Traditional families, broken families, blended families, families of choice.
* Poor in spirit.
* In mourning.
* Meek.
* Hungering and thirsting for righteousness.
* Merciful.
* Pure in heart.
* Peacemakers.
* Persecuted because of righteousness.
Our doors are open because this was Jesus’ prayer:
"My prayer is not for [the Disciples] alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one — I in them and you in me — so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." (John 17:20-23)
