The Elmwood Hall Danbury Senior Center Presents Stay Balanced & Confident: Fall Prevention Workshop
Join Kate Campbell, Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at the Ridgefield Visiting Nurses Association (RVNA) us for an informative session on preventing falls and staying safe at home and beyond. This workshop will cover essential fall prevention techniques and exercises to improve balance and strength, helping you feel secure and confident. About the Presenter
Kate Campbell is the RVNAhealth Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, dedicated to the growth and performance of the RVNAhealth Rehabilitation & Wellness Center. Specializing in sports and orthopedics, Kate is passionate about helping patients return to their activities following injury. Her expertise includes post-joint replacement therapy, vestibular support, and Otago balance training. Additionally, Kate is LSVT Big certified to treat patients with Parkinson’s disease.
Kate holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Delaware, along with a background in exercise physiology, strength & conditioning, and biology. Board-certified in Sports Physical Therapy, Kate is one of only 18 physical therapists in Connecticut with this distinction.
This program is open to all Danbury Senior Center Members age 60+. Registration is required. Membership to The Danbury Senior Center is FREE.
