Healthy Kids Day at the Darien YMCA
The Darien YMCA hosted its annual Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 26. This FREE community event encouraged children and families to get active, learn about healthy living, and have fun together.
Highlights included activity stations such as a kindness coloring area, hand-print tree, water safety demonstrations, an obstacle course bounce house, and a book giveaway. Families also enjoyed visits from local fire and ambulance services, CPR demonstrations, and open playground time (weather permitting).
The event featured the Healthy Kids Day Dash — an untimed, fun run — where all registered participants received a commemorative t-shirt.
Healthy Kids Day at the Darien YMCA brings families together for a day focused on health, wellness, and community spirit, supporting the Y’s mission of building a stronger, healthier Darien.
