The Railroad in Song
Danbury, CT: On Wednesday, April 30th singer and songwriter Jon Waterman will present his program "The Railroad in Song” at Danbury Public Library at 170 Main St in Danbury at 6:00pm. The program consists of traditional and original songs, stories and a slide show about trains, workers on the railroad, train wrecks, heroes, hoboes and more. The show is part of a series of programs created by Waterman called Live Music Making History Live designed to encourage the celebration and exploration of history through music. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
