Celebrate the Season, a Christmas Cantata with silent auction
This is a choral presentation of a Joel Raney cantata with a silent auction - all donations to benefit a Shelton non-profit. 'Ruth's House' is a home that provides a secure place for single mothers with children who have ended up in desperate circumstances. It is not a shelter or a safehouse, but a real home. Google www.ruthshousect.com for more info. In this home the qualified residents are housed, educated in various ways and helped to get back on their feet. The home was opened in 2024. We (my church) felt that this is an important non-profit cause, so we created the music event as a fundraiser. There will be outstanding performances, friendly association, food, and a silent auction after the music portion to create even more fun! Please join us Dec 12. The music starts at 7 PM, but you may want to drop in early to look at the silent auction items and put in a bid.
