Step Up For The Brave Challenge
Held at the Martire Family Arena at Sacred Heart University, this 90-minute challenge allows participants to choose to take laps on the 500 stair-climb challenge throughout the arena, or tackle a 1,000-step non-competitive walking challenge. Those unable to attend the event in person may participate in a virtual walking challenge, taking place from August 10-14. The event will be co-hosted by WTNH Channel 8 Anchor/Reporter Alyssa Rae Taglia, AJ from WPLR’s Chaz & AJ show, and WFSB Channel 3’s award-winning sportscaster Marc Robbins. Proceeds from this event will support Homes for the Brave’s mission to provide Veterans and their families with the support and resources needed to thrive. The Martire Family Arena at Sacred Heart University is located at 3135 Easton Turnpike in Fairfield, CT, and registration opens at 8am.
