Free Fall Concert Series

Thayer Public Library Fall Concert Series hosts soprano soloist Megan Bisceglia on Saturday, Sept. 21, 3-4 pm. Megan Bisceglia is a versatile singer in the musical theater, classical, and art song genres. Megan loves to explore the intersection between different mediums of art. During the pandemic she created and performed a solo show titled “I Grow to Be My Grandmother” after the Lori Laitman song by the same name which explored the relationship between art and memory. She has also performed as accompaniment for dance in the Artists for World Peace Gala. Megan has premiered opera roles with Boston Opera Collaborative as well as performing classic opera roles with groups such as Cambridge Chamber Ensemble and MetroWest Opera (now MassOpera). She has sung as a soloist with Boston Civic Symphony and Wellesley Symphony Orchestra. Post-pandemic, Megan is now returning to her roots and her love of musical theater while continuing to explore artistic intersectionality. When she is not singing, Megan is working in the non-profit art world as Director of Engagement for Emmanuel Music and chasing after her two-year-old whose favorite song for many months has been Tractor, Tractor. Event is held in Logan Auditorium, accessible by elevator from the library's Parking Lot Entrance (rear door). Free and open to the public.
