Museums on Us from Bank of America


The first weekend of every month, Bank of America's monthly "Museums on Us" program offers free admission to a number of Boston's most prestigious museums. The nationwide program is available to all Bank of America, Merrill, and Bank of America Private Bank cardholders, and opens up more than 225 of the nation's most prominent cultural institutions in 35 states. In Massachusetts, the participating museums are: The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Featured Exhibit: "Of Light and Air: Winslow Homer in Watercolor" The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Closed through Jan 5 The Peabody Essex Museum, Salem New Exhibit: "Draw Me Ishmael: The Book Arts of Moby Dick" EcoTarium, Worcester Featured Exhibit: "Wallace & GromitTM: Get Cracking!" closes Jan. 4! The Mount, Edith Wharton's home in Lenox: NightWood—a magical outdoor winter experience blending music, light, and the estate’s landscape, runs through Jan. 3 Orchard House, Louisa May Alcott's home in Concord: Closed Jan.3, re-opening for 2026 on Jan. 4! Springfield Museums One Stop, Five Museums: "The Grinch's Grotto" is open Nov. 22 through Jan. 11 Fitchburg Art Museum: Exhibit: "Tara Sellios - Ask Now the Beasts" The New Bedford Whaling Museum New Exhibit: "Ahab’s Head: American Vengeance" The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum (Saturdays only) Exhibit: “Presidential Summers: The Kennedys on Cape Cod” Bank of America offers this benefit to promote greater cultural understanding, expand accessibility to the arts, and strengthen communities. Upon arriving at a participating institution, customers need only present their Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission for themselves.
