Museums on Us from Bank of America

The first weekend of every month, Bank of America's monthly "Museums on Us" program offers free admission to a number of Boston's most prestigious museums.

The nationwide program is available to all Bank of America, Merrill, and Bank of America Private Bank cardholders, and opensup more than 225 of the nation's most prominent cultural institutions in 35 states. In Massachusetts, the participating museums are:

"Art of the Americas: 1700-1800” (Closed July 4)

  • The Mount, Edith Wharton's home in Lenox: Grounds are open year round

  • Orchard House, Louisa May Alcott's home in Concord. From April - October 2026

  • Springfield Museums Featured Exhibit: "Declaration of Innovation: Springfield’s Revolutionary Ideas" (Closed July 4)

Bank of America offers this benefit to promote greater cultural understanding, expand accessibility to the arts, and strengthen communities. Upon arriving at a participating institution, customers need only present their Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission for themselves.
