In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord, The Lexington Pops Chorus presents “In Her Words: Songs of Courage, Unity, and Freedom”. This concert, featuring eminent women composers, speaks of the struggle for equality and freedom, which is especially meaningful on Martin Luther King weekend. It is highlighted by the chorus’s 2013 commission by Gwyneth Walker, “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere”.
