Granoff Music Center Colloquium: Exploring the Mind Through Music
Thanks to advances in mobile brain-body imaging (MoBI), music and other art forms now have the potential to help scientists explore the neural underpinnings of human cognition and our social interactions in real-world conditions. Dr. Anthony Brandt (Rice University) will discuss several collaborations in which artistic performances are combined with MoBI experiments to investigate inter- and intra-brain synchrony and the brain dynamics of learning and creativity.
