Runners and walkers from across the Commonwealth are invited to join family and friends of the late Boston City Councilor Brian Honan for the 22nd Annual Brian J. Honan 5K Road Race presented by New Balance on Sunday, September 29th at noon in Allston-Brighton. The race benefits the Brian J. Honan Charitable Fund which fosters local and national programs that support education, recreation, housing, and healthcare.
Brian J. Honan served the Allston-Brighton community for more than seven years as District City Councilor and for his whole life as an advocate for Allston-Brighton and the people of the City of Boston.

Participants may pick up their race numbers on Saturday, September 28th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the New Balance Factory Store at 173 Market St, in Brighton MA, or on race day starting at 10:30am at the CVS Parking lot, 181 Brighton Avenue, Allston.
