Complimentary Holiday Lunch for Veterans and Active Military: Boston Restaurant Gives Back
The recently opened waterfront restaurant, 1928 Rowes Wharf, hosts a complimentary Holiday Lunch honoring active military members and veterans, featuring a festive buffet-style meal and beverages. Service members and their families are invited to enjoy a celebratory midday gathering as a token of appreciation for their service during the holiday season. Seating is first-come, first-served. 1928 kindly asks that military attendees either arrive in uniform or provide a military ID upon arrival.
Donations will also be accepted onsite for charitable partner, Miles for Military, a nonprofit which provides flights home for active-duty service members across the country so they can spend time with their families for the holidays and other ‘moments that matter.’ Service members from all branches of the military earn flights home, which they otherwise might not be able to afford, in return for volunteering at a charity of their choice.
