Veterans Freedom Ball
The Board and Staff of the Microbusiness Enterprise Corporation of Ascension invite you to attend and support veterans programming at the Annual Freedom Ball on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Price Leblanc PACE Center located at 2824 St. Anthony Avenue, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 featuring the
Distinguished Veteran Marshall Honors, live music for David St. Romain & Songs for Survivors, dancing and networking.
The Freedom Ball is a public recognition program fundraiser to support veteran service entrepreneurial, workforce, and economic development programs in South Louisiana. The Freedom Ball includes all the traditions and fanfare of a traditional carnival ball and is under new management. Proceeds from the ball will be reserved to provide services that benefit the economic prosperity of veterans and to honor those who serve, have served, and have given their lives to protect our democratic way of life.
Guests will be required to attend in formal attire and if desired, may choose from a selection of catered items for both food and beverage. Sponsorship levels are still available if interested (call 225.445.1383 for more information on tax deductible sponsorships), and some levels include catered menu items. Beverage packages are available for purchase, although guests may bring their own alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixers and beverages. All guest tables are tables of 8 and will include ice and five setups (2 Coca Cola - 2-liters, 1 Sprite - 2-liter, and 1 Water sponsored by TruBlue Water). There will be NO CASH BAR. Some
individual tickets are available, although generally, tables are sold as a group of 8 guests. The host hotel is the Clarion Hotel Conference Center in Gonzales, LA 70737 approximately one-half mile from the event (“off-highway” road entrance from the PACE Center to the hotel - reserve here:
