The Friends of Children?s Crisis Treatment Center and event co-chairs Jessica Abelson Sigg and Shaun Lenet hosted the city?s best unofficial end-of-summer party with a purpose, the 10th Annual Cruise for the Kids. Located on the deck of The Moshulu, guests enjoyed a night full of delicious cuisine, top-shelf open bar, and live music by Verdict and DJ Francisco. Guests bid on exciting raffle items, such as shopping, dining, sports, and entertainment packages, as well as fabulous trips to Atlanta and Cabo! CBS3 and The CW Philly were the event media sponsors, and CBS3?s Stephanie Stahl served as the master of ceremony for the evening. With roughly 475 people in attendance, the event raised a total $67,000. Funds raised will benefit CcTC?s services for Philadelphia children and their families, who are coping with learning and behavioral difficulties, effects of abuse and neglect, and other challenges to early childhood development.
