ANCHORS AWEIGH! COMMISSIONING WEEK 2025
One of the Naval Academy's most anticipated events of the year, this week of celebrating, commemorating and commissioning marks the culmination of our firsties’ Academy careers and the exciting beginning of their naval ones. Traditions abound and festivities are everywhere. Plebes have already successfully climbed Herndon and become third class midshipmen, the Blue Angels flyovers fill us with heart-rousing pride and the capstone graduation ceremony is the perfect send-off for new ensigns and 2nd lieutenants! You’ll get goosebumps every time you hear “Anchors Aweigh” and watch the crisply uniformed midshipmen salute. We're ready to launch this historic week and are so happy to welcome you aboard!
