Joe Witkowski’s two-dimensional work is influenced by film noir, vintage horror and cult movies. The figure is a consistent element in his work. In these linocut prints, the themes of German Expressionism - anxiety, existential dread and fear of "the other" – are present in the face or body language of these compelling characters.

Kira Dolcimascolo’s artwork primarily focuses on the female body, addressing themes of the body's relationship with its environment, finding balance, and the artist's struggle with the creative process. She is inspired by life events, personal narratives, recurring dreams, and female archetypes in various stages of life. Her figures often have an uneasy tension with their surroundings.
