On Saturday, May 17, 2025, Kern County Public Works, in partnership with Cesar Chavez Environmental Corps, Varner Bros., Inc., Price Disposal, Howard’s Garbage Service, Inc., and Superior Sanitation Service, Inc., will be hosting a FREE Bulky Waste Collection Event from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at three locations: Meadows Field, Kern Medical, and the Kern County Fairgrounds.
