Good Friday Service at First Presbyterian Church
The First Pres family warmly invites you to gather with us for a sacred time of Scripture, hymns, prayer, and quiet reflection on Good Friday, April 3rd at 6:30pm. This worship service centers our hearts on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ—the Lamb of God who bore our sins, endured the weight of our brokenness, and gave His life so that we might be forgiven and restored. Through readings, music, and moments of contemplation, we will pause to consider the cost of grace and the immeasurable mercy poured out for us at Calvary.
As the service draws to a close, we will depart in silence and darkness, symbolizing the sorrow of that holy night and the stillness of the tomb—waiting with anticipation for the joy and victory of Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday.
Childcare will be available for 3rd grade and below. We hope you will join us for this meaningful and essential part of the Holy Week journey as we remember the cross and prepare our hearts to rejoice in the risen Savior.
