"AANHPI Heritage Month Community Paint Night" In-Studio Paint Party!

🚗 Parking and entrance are behind the building. Enter from 28th Street near Rosemary’s Creamery. Look for the Westchester Promenade Building about halfway down the row and walk through the opening next to the Crosstown Taxes sign.

Join us for a meaningful evening of creativity and community as we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in collaboration with the Kern County Asian Chamber of Commerce.
For this special event we will be painting “Ohana” by artist Alisha Caffro, used with permission. The Hawaiian word ohana represents family, connection, and belonging. In Hawaiian culture it reminds us that family extends beyond blood ties and includes the people who support, uplift, and stand beside us.
That spirit beautifully reflects the 2026 AANHPI Heritage Month theme: “Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together.” Through art, conversation, and shared experience, this evening is a chance to celebrate culture, build connections, and enjoy time together in a welcoming creative space.
The Kern County Asian Chamber of Commerce will be providing small bites from a local restaurant along with additional refreshments for guests to enjoy during the evening.
Your canvas will be pre traced, and our Artist/Party Facilitator will guide you step by step so everyone can relax, have fun, and enjoy the experience together.
This event is open to everyone in our community. Whether you are part of the AANHPI community or simply want to come together in celebration, you are warmly welcome. Events like this are a wonderful way to learn, connect, and support one another while enjoying a creative night out.
