With over 1,000 discs sold, a special edition VHS release from Lunchmeat, trading cards galore, and screenings around the country, PSYCHO APE! hastaken on a life of its own.
So, naturally the filmmakers decided to cash in, baby!
PSYCHO APE!! PART II THE WRATH OF KONG - “a movie that appears to accidentally make itself as it goes.” - Addison Binek. This time, with double the budget, $14,000, (raised via Indiegogo), creators Binek & DeLiso lean into the meta deconstructionism side of the guy-in-cheap-gorilla-costume schlockfest.
This one features less gore, less nudity and more parodies of A Few Good Men!
With a “plot” that zips along faster than a Chiquita, and featuring a cavalcade of stars that will babswoon your untamed heart.
