This August, roll up your sleeves to support Central Texas patients and score a free lunch from an Austin original! We Are Blood has teamed up with Schlotzsky’s Deli to thank local donors for keeping hospital shelves stocked during a critical late-summer shortage.
From August 15 through August 31, everyone who donates blood or platelets at any of We Are Blood's four fixed donor centers or mobile drives will receive a voucher for a free small sandwich from Schlotzsky's!
August is historically one of the most challenging months of the year for the regional blood supply as families focus on back-to-school transitions and final vacations. Your single donation can save up to three lives across our 10-county hospital network. Book your spot today, give back locally, and enjoy a classic Austin sandwich on us. Appointments are highly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
