Unchained.Art Contemporary Gallery presents 'favorite pieces: the artist’s edit', the gallery’s annual invitational exhibition celebrating three years in Austin.
In this exhibition, each artist presents one self-selected work they consider essential to their practice. Rather than a traditional group survey, the exhibition offers a focused view into what each artist believes holds weight within their body of work.
Spanning painting and sculpture, the exhibition brings together Austin-based artists alongside international voices represented by the gallery. Long-standing collaborators appear alongside newly introduced artists, reflecting the evolving scope of Unchained.Art’s program.
Each artwork is accompanied by a short artist reflection explaining why the selected piece holds particular meaning within their practice.
The exhibition opens March 26 with a reception from 5–8 PM and remains on view through May 9.
