The Winter's Tale by WIlliam Shakespeare
Twelve Satyr Shakespeare Company will present its first production, The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare, from Thursday, February 27, 2025 through Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Trinity Street Playhouse. The production will be the directorial debut of Leo Weiser and Andrew Wissman.
“The Winter’s Tale is one of Shakespeare’s finest works. A complex mix of romance, tragedy, and comedy, there is a little something for anyone. We are extremely excited to bring our inaugural production to the Austin area.”

About Leo Weiser and Andrew Wissman
Leo and Andrew met while studying and performing at the University of Texas’s Shakespeare at Winedale Program. Following their graduation from the University of Texas and St. John’s College, the pair wanted to start a Shakespeare Company in Austin that would expand upon their time at Winedale. They have a deep appreciation for the language of Shakespeare, and enjoy working with other actors to examine and analyze text. Their goal as directors is to bring thoughtful and insightful performances to the Austin area.
