Out at the Rodeo
Austin, TX – The United Court of Austin (UCA) is proud to announce the inaugural "Out at the Rodeo" Grassroots Pride Night, set to take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Rodeo Austin. This historic event will feature all the excitement of the rodeo, the lively atmosphere of the fair, and a special concert by the acclaimed Randy Rogers Band.
Rodeo Austin, known for its authentic Texas charm and thrilling entertainment for the past 87 years, does not host themed nights. Recognizing an opportunity to celebrate inclusivity and diversity, the United Court of Austin took the steer by the horns to organize this groundbreaking Pride Night.
The initiative is spearheaded by Todd Garrett, Emperor XXX of Austin, a retired rodeo competitor who now serves as a beloved rodeo announcer. With his unique perspective and passion for both the rodeo and LGBTQ+ communities, Garrett brings a wealth of experience and heart to this event.
"This is more than just a rodeo—it's a celebration of who we are as a community," said Garrett. "Out at the Rodeo is about showcasing the vibrant diversity of Austin while honoring the traditions that make Texas great. Whether you’re a long-time rodeo fan or a first-timer, everyone is welcome to join the celebration."
The evening’s festivities will include:
• The Fair: Fun and festivities for all ages, with food, games, and entertainment.
• The Rodeo: Thrilling events that showcase the grit, skill, and tradition of Texas rodeo.
• Randy Rogers Band Concert: A high-energy performance by one of Texas’ most beloved country music acts.
