Past the Graffiti Bridge down to Alphabet Street, let's look for the purple banana and celebrate the legacy and legend of a modern master whose lyrical genius, transcendent sound, and evolutionary style touched and influenced, motivated and encouraged millions across the globe, the faithfully departed, Artist Formerly Known As Prince.
Experience Le Peep Show + TGR Saturday, April 19th, with "EROTIC CITY IV: [S]INEMATIC" and be taken on a visual journey of Madhouse reverence and adulation of Prince and the mark his presence, artistry, and sensuality left upon the world. In this MADHOUSE tribute, we present to you an ocular feast in celebration of all Prince's cinematic creations and presentations both big and small, well known and unknown, highly exonerated and the greatly underrated. A night of music and dance for and inspired by His Purple Badness, along with diary confessions of how his music and art ushered forth revelation and awakening, transformation and homecoming, and cultivated the blooms of beauty, sensuality, sex, fearless and transgressive expression, and psychedelic fantasy within us all. A night of high energy in high style on display for your sensory pleasure down memory lane.
So let’s go crazy and let’s get nuts from FIRST AVENUE to club VENUS DE MILO to GLAM SLAM and all the other destinations his pop classics, his funk sessions and all that’s in between, around, above and under transported us to, and party like... the 2020's aren't happening.
