21st Annual Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival and Short Film Competition


The top cinematic celebration of disability in the state, the Festival features the work of independent filmmakers from around the world, from documentaries to animated shorts to the avant-garde. The two-day event provides a unique and entertaining way to positively and accurately view disability The event will take place on Friday, September 27th from 6-10 and Saturday, September 28th from 6-10 at the Long Center. Each night will feature a different selection of short films, as well as speakers and performances TBA. Regarding access, the theater will have open seating, with unattached chairs on a level floor, and some tables for those who need a surface. All films will be screened with open captions, and ASL interpretation will be provided for all spoken portions of the Festival. Audio description devices will be available.
