Mortified Austin: MortiPride (Show 2, 6/6)
Get ready to cringe, laugh, and cry as our LGBTQIA+ identified performers share embarrassing artifacts from their youth. Mortified ATX is honored to bring back our annual Pride show, MortiPride, featuring LGBTQIA+ identified performers as they share embarrassing (in hindsight) artifacts from their past.
Ripped from the pages of real life, Mortified Live is a storytelling show that has been delighting audiences for twenty years. Hear adults share their most embarrassing childhood letters, lyrics, journals, home movies and artwork. Mortified is equal parts comedy and therapy. Mortified Media operates across the globe, from LA to Oslo, and we produce books, podcasts, and film.
The show has been hailed as "a cultural phenomenon" by Newsweek, and featured on This American Life, NBC's Today Show, Entertainment Weekly, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Talk of the Nation, and more. Honored by the Austin Chronicle “Best of Austin” winner!
In addition to this show at 6 pm on June 6, we'll also have shows at 7:30 pm on 6/5 and 8:30 pm on June 6.

Show & Venue Information:
- INCLUSIVITY: All shows are ASL interpreted.
- SEATING: If you require special arrangements, email us at least 48 hours in advance & we will do our best to accommodate.
- AGES: This is a show for adults, and The Highball requires all of our guests to be 21+.
- FOOD & DRINK: The Highball serves food and has a full bar.
- DOOR TIMES: House doors open 30 minutes prior to the show, and the show will start on time.
- CANCELLATIONS: Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the event start date.
