From candy-coated crafting events to a sugar art display and sweet shop from Capital Confectioners to heartwarming local art, the City Arts Center is a family fun place to celebrate all things merry and imaginative this December 2nd-23rd! Candy Lane Village Capital Confectioners/Capital City Cake Club, a talented group of sugar artists, presents its Candy Lane Village, with a confectionary shop, holiday sugar sculpture displays, and a chance for kids and families to add to the gingerbread village during special events! Saturday, Dec. 6 Drop-in anytime: 10:30am–4:30pm Cost: Free Decorate your own gingerbread house front to add to a sugary community art installation. Hosted by sugar artists from Capital Confectioners/Capital City Cake Club, we provide everything—candy, icing, sprinkles, and you bring plenty of sugary inspiration.
