State Capitol Sit-in to against discriminatory bill SB17 and HB17

The event starts from Hugh and Henry since April7th. It is daily base protesting in Texas State Capitol. Our minority community volunteers are sit-in every day until this bill is killed or modify those racist items. This is Henry Qu, plano resident since 2013. Texas Republicans are targeting our community. Senators just passed the discriminatory bill SB 17 to limit legal migrants housing constitutional rights. The author is Senator Kolkhorst with 15 republican co-authors. The house is working on the bill HB17, which is even worse as racist bill. It does not allow legal visa holders to buy or rent normal residential houses/property. The author is Rep. Cole Hefner with over 60 republican house members as co-sponsors. Our minority community volunteers are sit-in the north gate of the State Capitol to protest both bills. Could you help us to report it and let more people know about these dangerous bills. These bills are a totally racist bill. We hope legislators can hear people's voices. They should hear people's voices from our community. This bill is not only targeted to legal visa holders but also impacts Asian American citizens. My daughter is studying at UT-Austin. If you see her, you could not tell if she is an international student or a US born kid. Both bills do not allow equal rights for student visa holders.
