Meteorology and Microclimates of the Shoal Creek Watershed Tour
Join Shoal Creek Conservancy and Meteorologist Kenneth L Tapp for an engaging presentation followed by a walking discussion of the meteorology and microclimates found in the Shoal Creek watershed! Tapp is currently an instructor at Texas State University, has his Master’s and Bachelor’s in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, and over 19 years of experience teaching at the collegiate level. This tour will begin in the downtown Austin REI store, where an SCC staff member will direct attendees toward REI’s classroom. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and we recommend bringing water and a snack if desired.
