A Night at the Gallery
This show will mark 1 year since our debut as a full-running, conventional Art Gallery!! Julie Ahmad transitioned her solo gallery/studio to support other incredible female talent in ATX in addition to her own abstract art. This change in her business was from her strong passion of empowering women + her desire to tackle the substantial disproportionate Gallery representation of male artists compared to female artists in the US.
EVENT SCHEDULE :
During the first hour (7-8pm) there will be an intimate private viewing of the exhibition exclusive to our VIP guests. VIP's will enjoy the 1st looks + dibs on the art from our 11+ local female artists, Gourmet Bites from The Backspace, Champagne, an Open Bar, & the ability to mingle with the artists one-on-one before the rest of the guests arrive at 8pm. All accompanied by live beats from DJ JESSKA! *Plus a SURPRISE SPECIAL GUEST!
From 8-10pm, General Admission guests + VIPs will enjoy our exhibition of 11+ local female artists, mingling with the artists, an Open Bar, beats by DJ JESSKA, and all the good vibes!
At 9pm, our Artists + Gallerist will have artist intros, providing everyone the opportunity to hear from the artists themselves.
DRESS CODE: Cocktail attire. Dress up for a night at the Gallery! ;)
RULES: No touching the art, please! No pets or children. This is a 21+ event.
