FEAST.

An ancient magical creature disguised as a middle-aged lady has invited you to her dinner party in order to right a few wrongs. An immersive, visceral theatre experience where mythology crashes into pop culture, FEAST. reimagines the Beowulf story as a warning against the rising forces of authoritarianism. It's a dinner party that's also a one-woman show. It's a cry of resistance against tyranny. It's a revenge tale that ends in reconciliation. It's a FEAST. Written by Megan Gogerty, directed by Melissa McKnight, and starring 7-time B. Iden Payne Best Actress winner Katherine Catmull, FEAST. asks - When will Justice be served? FEAST. runs April 24 - May 17, Thursdays through Saturdays at Hyde Park Theatre. Dinner at 7pm, Show at 8pm. The production team includes Amy Lewis (Lighting Design), Johann Solo (Sound Design), Shannon Grounds and Melissa McKnight (Set and Properties Design), with Stage Management by Fernando Lara and House Management by Vee Thorp. “There is rage and rawness and biting satire in this show. There are plenty of things to make you laugh, but also tenderness that will draw tears.” Culture Spot LA “Thrillingly unconventional...” Minneapolis Star-Tribune “It is a confessional that transitions into a call to arms. And it is decidedly not ordinary theater.”
