Georgetown’s 27th Annual Red Poppy Festival Returns April 24-26


(GEORGETOWN, Texas) — The “Red Poppy Capital Of Texas,” Georgetown, Texas, celebrates the return of its popular Red Poppy Festival, April 24-26, 2026. This is the 27th year that the city has hosted the free, two and one-half day festival to celebrate the history and beauty of its poppy season. The 2026 festival will feature live music and arts performances throughout the weekend, handcrafted works from local artisans, a classic car show on Saturday, plenty of food and family-friendly activities including a Kid’s Fun Zone on Saturday, the POPP Pup Parade on Sunday, and more.
