(GEORGETOWN, Texas) — Kick off this year’s holiday season with Georgetown’s annual Lighting of the Square. This free event will start at 5:30 p.m. on November 29. Attendees can enjoy local dining, holiday shopping and Christmas carolers while witnessing the “Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas” light up. After the lighting, Santa Claus will be available for photos inside the courthouse in exchange for an unwrapped toy or a monetary donation benefiting the Brown Santa program. The lights around the square and Williamson County Courthouse will remain lit through January 1, 2025.
