Master musician saxophonist, Steve Vague, headlines The Backstage for Jazz Night
Mega-talented saxophonist Steven Vague is headlining The Backstage for Jazz Night. Playing on the night is Terry Bowness, Lannie Hilboldt, Will Owen Gage, and host Ernie Durawa on drums. Steven came to Austin and graduated from UT where he played in the Texas Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Orchestra. He's played in numerous bands and with various performers like Delbert McClinton and Paul Oscher. Vague is a member of the popular group Saxtravangza and is a regular at Ernie Durawa's residency in its 9th year at El Mercado South. Jazz Night is always a super evening and Steven is an exceptional musician. Doors: 6:30 PM. Downbeat: 7:00PM. Tickets are only $15 at the door. Tasty Tex-Mex and Margaritas are served in the showroom plus ample free parking is a plus.
